A lover of music from an early age, he entered school competitions where he always placed in the first three, at age ten he was already composing ballads. At age eighteen he, along with a friend entered the popular Party Time competition on Trinidad and Tobago Television doing a dance routine, they placed third.

At age twenty he was a front line singer where he stayed for one year, he then joined with Mark Jiminez to form Ataklan where they composed and performed Rapso but parted ways after two years. He also did work on the road with Roy Cape for a carnival season. He is now singing under the name S.K.H.I. which stands for Science Is Knowledge That Heightens Intelligence. His songs deal mostly on Social issues and love.

In 2006 he had the song “Find Ah Way”, “Addictive” in 2007 and in 2008 he had a big hit with Desire, which he performed at the International Groovy Soca Monarch competition.
